Carne Asada

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Skirt steak or Flank steak

  • Marinade: 1/2 cup Orange juice, 1/4 cup Lime juice, 2 tbsp Soy sauce, 4 cloves Garlic (minced), 1/2 cup Cilantro, 1 tsp Cumin, 1 tsp Chili powder.

  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Mix marinade ingredients in a ziplock bag. Add steak. Marinate 1–4 hours.

  2. Preheat grill to high heat.

  3. Remove steak from marinade and grill for 4–5 minutes per side (for medium-rare).

  4. Let rest for 5 minutes.

  5. Slice thinly against the grain. Serve with warm tortillas.
