General Tso's Chicken
Ingredients:
1 lb Chicken thighs, cubed
Batter: 1 egg, 1/2 cup Cornstarch, pinch of salt.
Sauce:
3 tbsp Sugar
3 tbsp Soy sauce
2 tbsp Rice vinegar
1/4 cup Chicken broth
1 tbsp Cornstarch
4 Dried red chili peppers
Oil for frying
Instructions:
Mix chicken with batter ingredients.
Deep fry chicken pieces until golden and crispy. Drain.
Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Leave 1 tbsp oil in the wok. Fry dried chilies briefly.
Pour in sauce mixture. Cook until it thickens into a glaze.
Toss fried chicken in the glaze until coated.
