Wonton Soup

Ingredients:

  • Filling: 1/2 lb Ground pork, 1 tsp Soy sauce, 1 tsp Sesame oil, 1 Green onion (minced), 1 tsp Ginger (minced).

  • 20 Wonton wrappers

  • 4 cups Chicken broth

  • 1 tsp Soy sauce (for broth)

  • 1 tsp Sesame oil (for broth)

  • Baby bok choy (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix filling ingredients thoroughly.

  2. Place 1 tsp filling in center of a wrapper. Wet edges with water, fold into a triangle, then pull the two bottom corners together and seal.

  3. Bring chicken broth to a boil with soy sauce and sesame oil. Add bok choy if using.

  4. In a separate pot of boiling water, cook wontons for 3–4 minutes (until they float).

  5. Transfer cooked wontons to the serving bowls and ladle hot broth over them.
