Beef and Broccoli
Ingredients:
1 lb Flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
1 lb Broccoli florets
Marinade: 1 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tsp Cornstarch, 1 tsp Oil.
Sauce:
1/2 cup Beef broth
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Cornstarch
Instructions:
Marinate beef for 30 minutes.
Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain.
Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Sear beef in a hot wok with oil until browned. Remove beef.
Add garlic/ginger (optional) to the wok, then pour in the sauce.
Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
Return beef and broccoli to the pan. Toss to coat.
