Chicken Teriyaki
Ingredients:
4 Boneless, skin-on chicken thighs
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp Cooking oil
Teriyaki Sauce:
4 tbsp Soy sauce
4 tbsp Mirin
4 tbsp Sake
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Ginger, grated
Instructions:
Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl; stir until sugar dissolves.
Season chicken with salt and pepper. prick the skin with a fork.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down. Cook until skin is crispy (approx. 5-7 mins). Flip and cook 3 more minutes.
Wipe excess grease from the pan with a paper towel.
Pour the sauce into the pan. Turn heat to high.
Flip chicken repeatedly to coat as the sauce bubbles and thickens into a glaze.
Remove chicken, slice, and drizzle remaining sauce over the top.
