Chicken Tikka Masala
Ingredients:
Chicken: 1.5 lbs Chicken breast, cubed
Marinade: 1/2 cup Yogurt, 1 tbsp Lemon juice, 2 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp Cumin.
Sauce:
1 Onion, finely diced
1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
2 tsp Ground coriander
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Chili powder
1 cup Tomato puree
1 cup Heavy cream
1 tbsp Butter
Instructions:
Marinate chicken for at least 1 hour.
Grill or broil chicken pieces until charred on edges (about 10-15 mins). Set aside.
In a deep pan, melt butter. Sauté onion until soft. Add ginger-garlic paste.
Add spices (coriander, turmeric, chili). Cook 1 minute.
Add tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in cream and simmer gently.
Add the cooked chicken to the sauce. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with cilantro and serve with naan.
