Chili con Carne
Ingredients:
1 lb Ground beef
1 Onion, diced
1 can (15oz) Kidney beans, drained
1 can (15oz) Diced tomatoes
1 can (8oz) Tomato sauce
2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Ground cumin
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Salt and pepper
Instructions:
In a large pot, brown the ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat.
Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (with juice), and beans.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer uncovered for 20–30 minutes to let flavors meld and sauce thicken.
Serve with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.
