Classic Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:
6 Large eggs
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp White vinegar or pickle juice
Salt and pepper
Paprika (for garnish)
Fresh chives (optional)
Instructions:
Place eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil.
Once boiling, turn off heat, cover pan, and let sit for 12 minutes.
Transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool completely. Peel carefully.
Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Scoop yolks into a small bowl.
Mash yolks with a fork. Stir in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pipe or spoon the mixture back into the egg white halves.
Dust with paprika and top with chives.
