Classic Meatloaf

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs

  • 1 Onion, finely diced

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/2 cup Milk

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • Glaze: 1/2 cup Ketchup, 1 tbsp Brown sugar, 1 tsp Mustard.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.

  3. Mix beef, onion, egg, soaked crumbs, Worcestershire, and salt gently by hand. Don't overmix.

  4. Form into a loaf shape on a foil-lined baking sheet or in a loaf pan.

  5. Mix glaze ingredients and brush half over the loaf.

  6. Bake for 45 minutes. Brush remaining glaze on top.

  7. Bake another 10–15 minutes (Internal temp 160°F/71°C). Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
