Philly Cheesesteak
Ingredients:
1 lb Ribeye steak, partially frozen (easier to slice)
1 large Onion, sliced
4 Hoagie rolls
8 slices Provolone cheese (or Cheez Whiz)
Salt and pepper
2 tbsp Oil
Instructions:
Slice the steak across the grain as thinly as possible.
Heat a griddle or skillet over high heat. Add 1 tbsp oil.
Sauté onions until caramelized (about 10 mins). Set aside.
Add remaining oil and steak slices. Cook quickly (2-3 mins), chopping meat with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt/pepper.
Mix onions back into meat.
Divide meat into 4 piles in the pan. Top each with 2 slices of cheese. Let melt.
Place open roll face down over the meat/cheese, scoop it up with a spatula, and flip over.
