Reuben Sandwich
Ingredients:
8 slices Rye bread
1 lb Corned beef, thinly sliced
1 cup Sauerkraut, drained well
8 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup Russian or Thousand Island dressing
Butter for frying
Instructions:
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place 4 slices butter-side down on a cutting board.
Spread dressing on the face-up side.
Layer: 1 slice cheese, corned beef, sauerkraut, 1 slice cheese.
Top with remaining bread, butter-side up.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill sandwiches until bread is crispy and cheese is melted (about 3–4 minutes per side).
